Falsettos

Jon Lutyens is a theatre artist of many stripes around the Puget Sound region. Audiences have seen Jon onstage at ACT Theatre, Village Theatre, Taproot Theatre, Book-It Repertory, and many others in the region. Jon also teaches regularly with educational arts programs through the area, working toward a future with greater acceptance and support for all students. Jon graduated from WWU, and is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association.

Meg is happy to return to Harlequin, last seen here as Rosemary Clooney in Tenderly. PNW acting credits include roles with Seattle Shakespeare Company, Idaho Shakespeare Company, Book-It Rep, Seattle Symphony, ArtsWest, Seattle Opera, Seattle Public Theatre, Washington Ensemble Theatre, and Theatre22. You can see her in several feature films and the series, “The Girl in the Woods”, streaming on NBC/Peacock. Meg teaches Voice and Acting at Cornish College of the Arts, Freehold Theatre Lab, and Mighty Tripod Studios and is a member of the vocal trio, Blue Plate Special.

Other favorite roles include Roger in Rent, Claude in Hair and Jamie in The Last Five Years. Bruce also works behind the curtain. He has designed and built sets for over 300 productions, including some here at Harlequin.  He is very proud and honored to be a part of this beautiful and significant show.

Kristen is a native Floridian who in recent years has graced the Harlequin stage with her portrayal of “Cassandra” in Vanya & Sonia & Masha & Spike and “Crystal” in Little Shop of Horrors. Her past performances also include Crowns, The Good Body, Black Nativity, Once on This Island, Hot Mikado, Doubt, You Can’t Take It with You, Clybourne Park, Purlie, Bubbling Brown Sugar, My Heart is The Drum, and Arsenic & Old Lace. Kristen truly enjoys the stage and sharing art through performance. She dedicates her time off the stage to working in communities to support underprivileged youth, adults, and persons with disabilities. She is happy to be part of our season, sharing this story with you.

Karin returns to Harlequin, having made their debut as Cordelia in Falsettos (2023). They are a Seattle-based actor, vocalist, and teaching artist. Karin has recently performed with Seattle Shakespeare (Benvolio/Paris; Romeo and Juliet, Feste; Twelfth Night Musical), Showtunes (Betty; Sunset Boulevard), and Reboot Theatre (BlackStache; Peter and the Starcatcher). They also tour throughout the year with the vintage trio, The Memphis Belles.

Josh is very excited to make his debut on the Harlequin Stage. Josh has been active in musical theatre throughout his elementary and middle school years. He’s had roles in Jungle Book Jr., Mulan Jr., Aladdin Jr., Once Upon A Mattress, Lion King Jr., Seussical, Beauty And The Beast, and SpongeBob The Musical. He has also taken part in summer camps by Theatre Of Arts Discipline (TOAD), Creative Theatre Experience, and Olympia Family Theatre. This spring he tried his hand at Shakespeare in Marshall Middle School’s production of The Tempest. In his spare time, Josh plays drums, piano, and video games, and can always be heard singing, everything from Hip Hop to Broadway to Classical and everything in between.
