Sanctuary City

If you are interested in auditioning or being considered for a role in Sanctuary City, please use the airtable form here. Auditions will be held in tandem with Our Town auditions on May 10th and are by invite only.

Rehearsal Start – September 3rd
Opening Performance – October 9th
Closing Performance – October 25th
Possible Extension – October 28th, November 5th and 7th

Character Breakdown:

B – Male, ages 17-21
G – Female, ages 17-21
Henry – Male, older.

B and G were born in other countries and brought to the US young. Henry is first generation, born in the US to immigrant parents. All have American mouths and were raised working class.

EQUITY (AEA) ACTORS

For 2026 Harlequin contracts Members of the Actors’ Equity Association on Single Engagement Agreement Category 2 Tier B contracts.

NON-EQUITY (AEA) ACTORS

Harlequin currently pays a base rate of 40% of AEA scale for all non-AEA actors. There are additional carpool stipends and housing opportunities for actors from out of town.
