Corey McDaniel is the Director of Development for Harlequin Productions. Mr. McDaniel served as the founder and producing artistic director of Seattle’s Theatre22 during their 10-year cycle. As an actor, he has worked throughout the US and internationally and his performance credits have placed him in such reputable arenas as the Fox Theatres, the Hollywood Bowl, Theatro Sistina in Rome, and the Metropolitan Opera House of NYC. Outside of Harlequin, Mr. McDaniel’s recent directing credits include White, Burn This, The Pride, Wizzer Pizzer, and The Hours of Life for Theatre22, The Merry Wives of Windsor with Wooden O/Seattle Shakespeare Company, Treasure Island with Book-It Repertory Theatre, Sister Act the Musical, Bonnie and Clyde, and Good Kids at Cornish College of the Arts, Julius Caesar with Island Shakespeare Festival and The Wild Party for Sound Theatre Company (Gregory Award for Best Musical).
Kyle is very excited to be working with Harlequin for the first time, especially on such a fun radio play for the Halloween season. He is also currently designing for Book-It Repertory Theatre’s audio drama Childfinder, which opens to the public at the end of October. Kyle has designed sound for over 50 productions with several different companies in the Seattle area, including: ACT, Book-It, Seattle Shakespeare Company, Theatre22, Strawberry Theatre Workshop, ArtsWest, and more.
At Harlequin Terry has played Sherlock in Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Christmas Carol, and Scrooge in Harlequin’s 2021, 2022, and 2023 productions of A Christmas Carol. He has also played Scrooge three times (and Marley once) at ACT in Seattle. Terry has performed at most of the professional theaters in the Pacific Northwest, including Seattle Repertory Theater, Book-It, 5th Avenue, Intiman, the Village, Taproot, Seattle Children’s, and Seattle Shakespeare. His performances as Billy in Billy Bishop Goes to War at the Bathhouse and in Howards End at Book-It were deemed “stellar performances” in their respective years by the Seattle Times. In his spare time, Terry is the Producing Artistic Director of Thalia’s Umbrella (thaliasumbrella.org) a small professional theater company in Seattle.
Jason Sharp is overjoyed to return to Harlequin Productions where he most recently played Jonathan Harker in Dracula. Other Pacific Northwest credits include A Doll’s House (Tacoma Little Theatre), Clybourne Park (Toy Boat Theatre), Cherdonna’s Doll’s House (Washington Ensemble Theatre), Hooded Or Being Black For Dummies (Theatre Battery), Live! From The Last Night Of My Life (T22/Theater Schmeater), Balconies, Team of Heroes Trilogy (Annex Theatre), among others. Jason is also a veteran actor of 14/48: The World’s Quickest Theater Festival and Ian Bell’s Brown Derby Series. Other local roles include Captain Hook in Peter Pan (OSD Players and CTE), Toad in The Wind in the Willows (OFT), Clov in Endgame (Calpurnia’s Dream), Richard in Fuddy Meers, and Adam in Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me (Centralia College). Jason has directed numerous shows for children and is going into his fifteenth season as the director of Creative Theatre Experience’s Showcase program. He currently teaches Drama and Social Studies at Thurgood Marshall Middle School here in Olympia. Jason owes everything to his beautiful family for their tremendous love and support. Antonio received his BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and is now a 2nd Year MFA Actor at the University of Washington. He is fairly new to the Washington area and looking forward to being on a stage again. His most recent project would have been Cabaret in the role of the Emcee at UW but sadly it was canceled. Even though times are tough right now he is grateful to still be able to create with other wonderful artists through this new virtual medium. Favorite roles elsewhere include Edmund in King Lear, El Gallo in The Fantasticks (Electric City Theatre), Charlie in The Foreigner, Hines in The Pajama Game (Abbey Players), Kenickie in Grease, Arthur in Camelot (Summer Showcase), Jesus in Godspell (May Carol Theatre Productions), Mr. Peachum in The Threepenny Opera (Capitol Playhouse), Mr. Nobody and the Tooth Fairy in Good Night Moon, Geppetto in Pinocchio (Olympia Family Theater) and Shylock in The Merchant of Venice (Theater Artists Olympia).
Favorite Seattle roles of late have included: Touchstone in As You Like It for Seattle Shakespeare Company, Duchess of Berwick in Lady Windermere’s Fan at Taproot, Agatha Christie in Vanishing Point at Seattle Public Theatre, Sid in the West Coast premiere of “Girl You Know It’s True” for The Stay Up Late Show, and 2 Holiday tours with DeLouRue’s Homo for the Holidays. In her Emcee life, Rebecca regularly hosts charity galas and burlesque revues around Seattle, Portland, and in Canada.
Sunam Ellis received her MFA in 2015 from the University of Washington’s Professional Actor Training Program, and since then, she has delved into the Seattle theater community, with productions and readings with ACT, Book-It, Seattle Shakespeare, Seattle Public Theatre, Sound Theatre, Seattle Rep, Theatre22, The Horse in Motion, and The Seagull Project. Favorite local roles include Margery in Hand to God (Gregory Award recipient), Bala in Sheathed (Gregory Award nominee), Marie in The Wellesley Girl, and Eleanor in Bring Down the House. Sunam also enjoys teaching the occasional theater class at Seattle University.
Marianna performs around Seattle, and has performed in several Harlequin shows, including as Eve in The Art of Racing in the Rain, Daphne in Present Laughter and Mrs. Linde in A Doll’s House. Before the shutdown, she was playing Julia in an adaptation of 1984 with Radial Theatre Project. She has cut her teeth voice acting with Sandbox Radio Live, Imagination Theater and on various video games. Alyssa is a long-time collaborator with Harlequin over the past decade as both an actor and resident Fight/Intimacy Director. Alyssa has worked with numerous other companies across Puget Sound including Seattle Rep, Book-It Repertory, Seattle Shakespeare Company, Seattle Opera, Tacoma Opera, Taproot Theatre, the University of Washington School of Drama, and Seattle University. Alyssa is also a freelance teaching artist, Advanced Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors, and co-founder of the PNW Theatrical Intimacy collective.
