On Broadway, Jackie – An American Life as associate General Manager, Off-Broadway, he was one of the producers of Hedwig & The Angry Inch and helped develop The Great American Trailer Park Musical. John is a member of the Ensemble Studio Theatre in New York City where he was Associate Producer of their Marathon of One-Act Plays from 1996-1998. In 2005, John wrote, directed and produced the opening festivities for the Center of Hope hosted by His Majesty King Goodwill Zweletini, the Mayor of Durban and the Minister of Health – a center serving the HIV/AIDS community in the township of Bhekulwandle, South Africa, where he was privileged to visit and work on eleven trips between 2003 and 2014.
