Pay What You Choose

As part of our access program, we offer a limited number of tickets for whatever price you choose to pay.*

We offer multiple Pay What You Choose performances during each Mainstage production. Tickets go on sale when the State Theater opens, 2 hours before showtime on the day of the performance. Pay What You Choose tickets must be purchased in person at the State Theater. Limit four tickets per person please.

We will hold tickets from sale for this program, so there will always be tickets available 2 hours prior to show time. Be advised – they may go very quickly.

Community Preview Nights

Harlequin is currently taking applications for its Community Preview Nights Program, in which selected non-profit partners are granted access to up to 150 seats* to Harlequin Productions’ final dress rehearsals. Filling all the seats allocated to the non-profit is especially beneficial to both organizations.

The intention is to provide a win-win for the non-profit partner and Harlequin Productions. The non-profit partner gets a great night out! In return, Harlequin’s cast and crew will benefit greatly by having a full audience for its final dress rehearsal. The audience is an essential element in live theater. A full house provides the cast and crew with that vital audience response following four weeks of closed rehearsals. Apply early!

*Preview Nights may be shared with multiple organizations requesting fewer than 150 tickets each

Teen Tickets!

$5 rush tickets for anyone aged 19 or under are available at the box office 2 hours prior to any performance on a space available basis.

Student Discounts

We offer discounted tickets to all performances for students with a valid student ID, and youth under 25 ($28 Plays, $33 Musicals/Holiday).

Student Group Prices

Groups of 10 or more students (including chaperone) receive $10 tickets.

Student Matinee Performances

We also offer student matinees for select productions. Through our student matinees, we strive to make the live theater experience available to an even broader range of students. These performances are generally appropriate for middle school, high school and college students. They are typically followed by a 20-30 minute talk-back session with the director and members of the cast. Group tickets for student matinees are offered at a rate of $10 each.
